3D Modelling: Rollercoaster Cart
My first 3D Modelling and Animation assignment was to create a cart for a Rollercoaster ride with a specific theme in mind such as ocean or sci-fi. For my project I essentially merged the two and took a nautical theme and combined it with a science-fiction style due to my personal adoration of this style and genre.
With the ocean being the intended setting, I thought it would be appropriate to have the cart be modelled after a submarine. However, I made it my prerogative to be as original as possible while still remaining loyal to the common concept most people have whilst thinking of a submersible. For example, I kept a mostly yellow colour scheme to link to the common, vibrant colour for the submarine, but added many different aspects such as thrusters and fins.
